Choir composition prize

Joan Pérez-Villegas has been awarded the prize for non-mixed choir composition for his arrangement of Vou veri vou.

The presentation ceremony, organized by the FCEC, will take place on March 1 at the Palau de la Música Catalana, where the winning works will be premiered and the prizes presented.

Double debut of Debout, Maurice!

Today, the piece Debout, Maurice! commissioned by the Kebyart ensemble has been published in two formats: On the quartet's new album tribute to Ravel, entitled "Unraveled"; And with the score published in physical format by the Clivis publishing house.
The work, premiered last November at the Palau de la Música Catalana, is now available for purchase and listening.

Futurs Utòpics de la Mediterrània Award with Anamaria Klajnšček

The collaboration between the musician Joan Pérez-Villegas and the dancer Anamaria Klajnšček won the 2nd prize of Futurs Utòpics de la Mediterrània for their work El Mateix Aire. The videoclip will be presented in Eslovenia (6th of March) and in Spain (17th of March).

Blau Salvatge Spanish tour

Blau Salvatge tours in Spain after recording their second album. The tour will include concerts in Festival Emergents (Barcelona) and Festival de Jazz de Granollers.

They will count with the singer Magalí Datzira as an invited guest.

Alanaire publishes their new single Reviure

Premiere of Jota de Souvenir

At the closing ceremony of the 10th Trobada de Percussió de Pollença, the piece Jota de Souvenir—written by Joan especially for the occasion—was premiered, performed by the students and teachers of the gathering.
Throughout the week, the students had the opportunity to work on the piece with the composer himself.

Premiere of Debout, Maurice! at Palau de la Música Catalana

On Kebyart's 10th anniversary, the saxophone quartet premiered their latest comission Debout, Maurice! (Joan Pérez-Villegas) to pay tribute to the composer Maurice Ravel.

The event took place at the modernist monument Palau de la Música Catalana.

Today, Kebyart will perform Sólo el misterio at the Philarmonie de Paris, continuing their European tour. The piece was already performed in the best concert halls of Luxembourg, Lisboa, Hamburg, Köln, Basel and Viena, and will still be played in Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, London and Porto.
